SIGNATURE GATHERING EVENT TO HELP SAVE OUTDOOR SCHOOL COMING TO SALEM, MAY 23
Getting outdoors--out of the classroom and immersed in how our natural world works--inspires kids and opens up future possibilities they never dreamed of before. Yet learning to appreciate the outdoors and Oregon’s unique natural resources has so many other benefits too, including encouraging kids to be more active and engaged at school.
For years, Outdoor School has made a positive difference in the lives of kids. But today, this life-changing experience is available to only about half of all Oregon children. It’s time to change that and rally to ensure all children statewide can participate in Outdoor School by helping get it on the ballot this year!
The time to act to Save Outdoor school is now: A signature gathering event is being held in Salem on Monday, May 23, where local citizens can come learn about the Save Outdoor School effort, find out more about volunteering and sign the petition. This event is free and it’s easy to register, simply RSVP HERE.
Time: Monday, May 23 from 5:30 to 7 p.m.
Location: IKE BOX, 299 Cottage Street NE in Salem
On behalf of all local children in the Salem area community and throughout Oregon, thank you for your support.
