Save Oregon Outdoor School

Hands on science, leadership development and a week exploring Oregon’s great outdoors with your peers. Sound good? If you are a fifth or sixth grader in Oregon this opportunity is on the line. As an adult, you can help make this experience real for every student in Oregon.

Outdoor School for All is a statewide campaign to use lottery money to provide a stable funding source for this 50 year old program. Right now, the campaign is gathering signatures – if we get enough, the decision will be up to Oregon voters on the November ballot.
There are many ways to engage, from endorsing, gathering signatures and recruiting others, to writing a letter to the editor, making a contribution or hosting an educational session for your employees.
OIA and many of our members are already involved and doing good work: Cairn, Columbia, Hydro Flask, KEEN, Mountain Shop, Ruffwear & REI.
I hope you’ll consider joining – please contact me with questions or to get involved.
