Without this type of program, kids will not learn the value of caring for the land or the importance of protecting species and location. Without outdoor schools we run the risk of breeding neglectful and uncaring attitudes toward our environment. If there ever was hope for developing good stewards of our forests it has been the outdoor schools and camp programs attended by the thousands of youngsters now grown into responsible adults.
